I'm eager to share my GMAT experience and the recent achievement of a score of 750 (V44, Q49).My path to reaching a 750 wasn't easy. In my first GMAT try, I scored 690. I scored a 675 (96th percentile) in my recent attempt, thanks to the classes with Param Sir, which helped me achieve a good verbal score (V83, 86th percentile).In a previous attempt, I had scored 580 on the GMAT Classic, with a Verbal 25, which was in the 35th percentile. Paramjit Sir teaches through first principle thinking and clears the basics at a granular level. He is very patient and helps the students acquire the right mindset for dealing with each type of question. After each class, a question bank was shared covering topics taught in the class, helping to polish the conceptual knowledge. Error log shared by sir was an extremely helpful tool and helped in tracking the exact concepts that needed work after practicing the question banks. Also, the analysis sessions after mocks were super helpful to develop an exam-ready mindset and strategy.

GMAT30 is a one-stop shop when it comes to GMAT prep and an exceptional one at that! I loved the fact that they have different class types to offer as per your requirements - whether you want private lessons or group classes. I still remember when I first texted sir via LinkedIn frantically asking for help in Verbal and sir replied saying he will help me get over my fear of Grammar. Hence, our journey started. From late-night discussions to asking queries to continuous hand-holding throughout my Verbal journey. I became confident and less confused. from V6 to V31. I recommend Paramjit sir and GMAT30 to anyone aiming to ace the GMAT. He is an exceptional faculty, and possesses deep expertise in both the Verbal and Quant sections. In all his classes, he dived deep into the application of each concept and the respective caveats that came along with it, and provided multiple examples for students to really grasp those particular concepts. Although I approached him for 1:1 sessions to improve my verbal score, we would end up discussing my quant performance in mocks as well. It really showed his dedication to helping his students excel. GMAT is also a psychological battle and Paramjit sir provides that support and guidance to help you power through. I have just one phrase for Param Sir, "Verbal Specialist". A month back I was struggling in verbal with my score hovering around V30. I tried everything but it seemed like my score was freezed. Frustrated, I reached out to him and decided to show faith in him and guess what? It paid off. Within some 40 days, I came out of exam centre with a V37 (touching a 700 mark).If you're in the same phase of struggle as I was in, I suggest you to reach out to him. He'll stick to you in your entire journey be it through Prompt WhatsApp replies -- prompt and thorough WhatsApp replies at any time of day, including late night, or extended zoom call sessions. He is encouraging throughout and truly invested in my success. Param is a great tutor for GMAT SC, and indeed an excellent partner to have during your GMAT prep. When I began working with Param in late Feb 2023, I was quite afraid of SC- especially because from my 1st attempt's ESR I knew that I needed to rely less on "my ear" and more on methodology, but I really did not like rote learning, which is what I expected GMAT SC to be. Cut to May 2023, when Param and I finished the SC coursework (which was completely tailored to focus on my goals and starting point), I was amazed to see how far I had come, how much better my approach was, and in turn my accuracy. And most of this happened without doing anything too special (especially no rote learning of grammar rules)- a simple review of the sessions we did together and then the question sets (yes, I really really delved deep into the why's and how's of each question, and Param was always happy to clarify)- infact we set up time within our sessions to discuss doubts and scenarios thoroughly which ensured that learning was not just on the surface. I would recommend Param to anyone looking to work on their Verbal skills, GMAT or otherwise. He added great value, and was very supportive of me and my ways of working throughout this journey. Param was my mentor for Verbal during my GMAT prep. I worked with him for a decent amount of time for my GMAT prep. Improved my score from V26->V38->V44(98%ile).I started working with Param in a 1:1 private sessions. His understanding of advanced-level English and his dedication to his students is what makes him stand apart from his competitors. My sessions with Param went so deep and were so conceptually heavy that many times I felt completely exhausted right after the session, as I learned so much from them. How will GMAT30 ensure that I remain motivated and score high?

How are the live sessions conducted at GMAT30?

Live classes are conducted as per the schedule uploaded on the course pages. For the weekday batch, you will be able to complete your course in ~6.5-7 weeks; for the weekend batch, you will be able to complete the course in 8 weeks. Post this, we focus on error analysis and more targeted practice of question sets.

Upon completing the additional question sets, you will be ready for your mock writing phase, in which coaches will constantly connect with you to give insights to improve your performance.

What happens after I enroll?

After enrollment, you will be given access to your student portal, which will comprise the session recordings, assignments, and class schedule. You will also be able to attend the live classes through the student portal itself. In addition, you will be given access to WhatsApp groups of the batch that you have signed up for.

Furthermore, you will have a mentorship call with Paramjit Das, who will outline the steps to be completed (including any pre-requisite homework) before you attend the first session.

Do I need to purchase any other materials?

Nope! The materials provided by GMAT30 is sufficient to secure the 99th%ile and beyond on the GMAT

What does the GMAT® test you on?

The objective of the GMAT® Focus is to assess your suitability (i.e. your aptitude) for graduate management programs. The GMAT® Focus edition comprises 3 sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Data Insights (this section includes Data Sufficiency [previously under Quantitative Reasoning] and Integrated Reasoning Questions, such as Multi-Source Reasoning, Two Part Analysis, Graphs and Tables.

The 3 sections are graded individually on scales ranging from 60-90 (inclusive). All sections contribute equally towards your composite score out of 805.

GMAT® is a computer adaptive test. What does that mean? How does the GMAT® CAT work?

GMAT® is a question-wise adaptive test – GMAT® adapts itself to your performance while you are taking the test. While the test typically starts with a medium difficulty question, the question difficulty level changes based on whether you are getting questions right or wrong. If you are getting questions right, the question difficulty level rises and you start seeing more difficult questions. Likewise, if you are getting questions wrong, you start seeing easier questions. Based on your performance in the test section at different difficulty levels, your score is calculated.

Since the next question is generated based on the difficulty level of the current question, and your performance in the section till that point in time, you also cannot browse back and forth between questions.
Also, you MUST select an answer to a question (take a calculated guess if you are unsure of the correct answer) in order to proceed to the next question
